Art Field Trip to MFAH

Schneider Art students recently went on a field trip to the Houston Museum of Fine Art with Ms. Sandstrom and Ms. Cardona.  Students experienced the 'floating' feeling as they walked through the installation art "The Light Inside", and posed with the statue "For the Worshipers" by Korean artist, Noh Sang Kyoon, made with sequins, resin, and fiberglass.

Spartans Compete at the 2019 PISD Name That Book Competition

name that book

The RSMS Name That Book team had an excellent showing at Park View Intermediate on Saturday, April 6.  These students spent the school year becoming familiar with selected texts.  During the competition, quotes or clues are read aloud and each team must “Name That Book” from the 30-35 books on the list.

Thank you, students, for your commitment to prepare for this competition.  We are SUPER PROUD of you! Thank you to Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Morfin and Mrs. Sandstrom for supporting our student team!

Celebrate National Library Week, April 7-13

We have the most wonderful school librarian that we absolutely adore!  She makes reading fun and creates a safe, warm environment for students when they visit the library.  We are so grateful to have Mrs. Williams!
